  1. Hi Christopher,

My name is William Wah and I am the marketing coordinator of Doteasy, a Vancouver-based free web hosting provider with 160,000 domain owners. I randomly visited your twitter page and noticed that you are currently looking for free domain name and free web hosting service for a Google App for Education project. So, I thought we might help you with your project.

Currently, we are doing a .INFO domain promo for $4.95 a year. With a domain purchase at Doteasy, you are automatically entitled free web hosting service which includes 100mb web storage and 1GB transfer monthly. However, if you would like more resources such as unlimited web storage, PHP scripting and MySQL database to install open source programs such as WordPress, you can upgrade to our Unlimited hosting. To support your project, we can give you a 50% off coupon code for Unlimited Hosting.

Please email me for the coupon code if you are interested. Thanks and have a good day.

  3. Hi Mr. Lister!
I am a fifth year teacher as well working part-time in a 5/6 classroom on Vancouver Island. I would love to do something collaboratively with your class if you are interested? I am teaching science, art and language arts officially but my teaching partner and I are pretty flexible!
In science we are on a track system to help deal with the split class issue. Not sure if everyone does this? This year I am covering body systems, electricity and renewable/non-renewable resources.
Let me know if you are interested in doing something.
    Love your blog!
    Cheers,
    Louise Thomson

  4. Mr. Lister,
I was very happy to look over your blog and some of the posts. I completely agree with your view of Central Elementary. I have interacted in a parental and professional capacity at other schools in the district and I honestly find Central to be superior. Most notably so in how special children are treated. At Central all the children are treated as valuable lovable beings deserving of kindness and understanding, I haven’t encountered the ‘uh-oh, problem-child’ attitude that tends to show up at some other schools. And is that not the best measure of any group; how they treat their young or most vulnerable?
I love that you took the time to share your pedagogy, Our family is very excited that our oldest child has a great teacher during this pivotal year of his life! I come from a family of many teachers and many of my close friends are also educators in the BC school system. I truly understand the value of a teacher who cares. Thank you for your passion!

    Sincerely,Mrs. Danielle den Admirant
